Thrivent members are asked to briefly meet with Mrs. Anthony after the service today.
Men will meet this Thursday, August 4, 8 a.m. to mow, trim and clean up the church grounds in other various ways.
Youth Day This Saturday (10 a.m – 7 p.m. or so), begins the morning with a service project at our clothing closet, continues in the afternoon with our study of God’s Word, and concludes in the late afternoon and early evening with a pool party. Please bring your swim trunks and puddle jumpers (for those who need them). Lunch and dinner will be served.
Practice for Harvest Home song and skit for youth ~ Every Saturday, 10 a.m.
Harvest Home Bulletin Cover Contest ~ Enter your work of art themed around “I Can Do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Me (Philippians 4:14)” for a chance for it to be chosen to be the bulletin cover for the day.
Christmas Cantata Practice ~ September 3, 2 p.m. at Center Grove
Supporting Our College Students ~ We’re collecting items to support Xavier and Amillya. Each student will have a personal list, but some other suggestions are as follows: hand soaps, laundry detergent, paper towels and other paper products, print/copy paper,
snacks, peanuts, crackers, chips, gift cards for pizza and fast food. Bring items to the narthex. Deadline: August 15.

Carolinas District LWML District Retreat August 19-21 at Camp Linn Haven, near Linville N.C ~ The theme this year is “Mountaintop Journeys with Jesus.” The camp fee (room & meals) is $100.
