Announcements

127 Year’s of God’s Grace ~ Mount Calvary’s Anniversary Celebration is TODAY, 3 p.m.  Pastor Anthony is our proclaimer for the afternoon service.  You are invited to celebrate in person with social distancing or through zoom.  Meeting ID: 995-005-8334.

ANNIVERSARY T-SHIRTS have arrived.  You can pick them up through Jerome Aho this morning or this afternoon.

WEDNESDAY EVENING, 7 p.m. ~ will now be a Zoom and in person Bible Study, rather than a brief service with Holy Communion.  Holy Communion is still offered by individual appointment with Pastor Stout (812-827-9134 or pastorstout@yahoo.com) or on Sundays, 10 a.m.

OUR SUMMER READING PROGRAM this year will be a once a week meeting on Zoom for roughly 10 weeks.  We are looking for adult volunteers to contact a youth once per week (phone, facetime, zoom, etc) to discuss the memory verse for the week.  Children will earn points by participation and the points are for prizes.  Contact Micah Grier, Nicole Metz, Jessica Griffin, Nia Metz, or Kelly Stout to help and/or donate funds for prizes.  The theme for this program is “Your Worth in Christ and Your Worth to Us.”

BLACKOUT DAY, July 7, 2020 – Encouraged by our church leadership, the Coalition of Lutherans in Black Ministry, the Black Clergy Caucus,  and many more Blackout Day is a peaceful protest against systemic racism.  On this day, July 7, the call is to spend no money (online, in stores, groceries, entertainment, etc).  This is an economic boycott to make voices heard.  Pastor will also place devotions on our website to specifically be used on this day to make this a day of fasting and prayer.
